🌟 Beginners Pitching Clinic 🌟

Does your player want to learn how to pitch?

We’re excited to offer a Beginners Pitcher Clinic designed specifically for girls who are new to pitching — especially those in 8U and 10U who are interested in giving pitching a try!

This clinic will focus on basic pitching mechanics only, making it ideal for brand-new pitchers who want to build confidence and fundamentals before the spring season. All pitchers must bring their own catcher (parent or experienced player on a bucket).

Thanks to Coach Ruthie Kimmons generously volunteering her time, we are able to offer all four sessions for just $40 total.

CGS Spring 2026

AGE ELIGIBILITY: Please note that we consider the girls age as of August 31st of 2025 for eligibility. Your girl will be eligible for that age group the entire 2026 Softball season (this upcoming fall and spring).

PLAYING UP: A player may play up into the next division of play, if a majority of the coaches in the division and the division director agree, after watching the player in the skills assessment, that the player is capable of playing up. If it is decided the player should stay down in their current division, the player will have to attend another tryout session for the other division prior to the draft. Please refer to our website for ideas on skills per age group for moving up. Coaches' daughters will also be permitted to play up without assessments if necessary. If you wish to be considered for playing up - please register for appropriate age division and send us an email. We want to ensure the girls are in the correct division in order for them to learn and love the game!

JERSEY SIZES: Be aware that we order Champro brand jerseys (same as last spring and fall seasons). The sizes will be girls/women and true to fit for girls/women cut. If you would like a looser/bigger fit, please be sure to order a size larger.

Age Divisions:

Munchkins (3&4) - 3 to 4 years.

Tee Ball (6u) - 4.5 to 6 years and 364 days old

Coach Pitch/Hybrid Kid Pitch (8u) - 7 to 8 years and 364 days old

Mini-Minors (10u) - 9 to 10 years and 364 days old

Minors (12u) - 11 to 12 years and 364 days old

Majors (18u) - 13 years to 18 and 364 days old
